A quick trip to Milano last week was full of culture, fashion and creativity. I've been busy designing my next collection and drawing inspiration from my surroundings so a visit to Milan was a must! The Duomo di Milano is simply incredible, it is the 5th largest cathedral in the world and took nearly six centuries to complete! The Duomo was built on the site of an earlier Cathedral (built in 335) that was destroyed by fire in 1075, beginning in 1386 and the last details were completed in 1965. A quick flight from Istanbul to Geneva on Thursday to attend the Salvatore Ferragamo Runway Show in Switzerland turned into a longer day when we managed to miss our morning flight. After the morning madness we finally arrived and were so happy to be a part of the Dukascopy Bank sponsored Ferragamo Fashion Show. I'm ecstatic to now confirm that Lisa Maree will be showing on the Runway at the Forex Event in Geneva later this year in partnership with Dukascopy Bank. Here I am at the Ferragamo show.

Where has the time gone?! Since my last post, I've flown from LA to Istanbul to work with our newest Lisa Maree manufacturer, then to Dubai for a short business trip….and I'm on Thursday I'm due in Switzerland for the Ferragamo Runway Show organised by Dukascopy Bank. A whirlwind as usual, with little Aditi in tow. Her first long haul flight from LA to Istanbul went very well with her sleeping beside me quietly nearly the whole flight (phew! I was having nightmare visions of what would happen on a 14 hour flight with a 3 month old puppy). Back to Dubai, it is so beautiful and is always above and beyond expectations with service, grandeur and sights to be seen and enjoyed. Peek into my little visit here.

I'm back in LALA land for my Winter Campaign shoot. We chose a great warehouse in Downtown LA this time with a so many great scenes set up across it's 4 levels, we had endless choices for backdrops and the day was a complete success! I cannot release those images for now BUT I can release the shots from my last shoot as the collection is dropping into stores this Summer. We shot at El Mirage dry lake bed in the Californian Desert, a very windy place with too many dust storms, what a crazy day, a lot of fun and I'm so happy with the results…! 

Meet Aditi, my beautiful bouncing baby, a very recent addition to the Lisa Maree family. Aditi, Hindu meaning: Boundless, Entire, Freedom, Security. All words that describe my beautiful girl. I'm basking in her innocence and liveliness, life is so precious and she reminds me of this each time I look in her direction. My Angel.

I have been celebrating my Birthday across 3 countries, Sydney, Istanbul and most recently Los Angeles. January has been a busy month with multiple long-haul flights and lots of people to see. I was surprised with this cake in Istanbul, and yes that's me sitting on the world. Citizen of the World, right? Right! 

HAPPY NEW YEAR from Sydney! I was lucky enough to spend New Years in my home town this year and had one of the best vantage points around, from my best friends house in Sydney. The Sydney Harbour Bridge is one of Australia's most well known sights and every year we light it up in style with fireworks to welcome the new year.
